It's spin. The Reform of the Reform crowd has now gotten their beloved Ambrosian and Carmelite Rites that they can study in zoos, but the Traditionalists have to accept second place in the Universal Church w/r/t Ordinations.
No. Tradition was sold out in 1963. We've been suffering through that, and we ought to be using this suffering to our advantage, in reparation, and using it as an offering for the full and complete restoration of traditional Catholicism.
If you are waiting for Rome to restore Tradition, you are going to be disapointed. It has to from us first.
Rome will never admit that they are wrong. Since Vatican II in full swing, every day the church is bleeding away with true priest and valid bishop. Since 1968 the rite for consecration of Bishop and priest has been changed. REason behind manipulation of mason in Vatican circle. It even continue to decay at present time. NO vocation, churches are closing. No of mass attendance has gone down to 50%. We do not know what will happen in the future, no priest no sacrament.
The current sacrament of ordination is valid. However, I will allow you to post reasoned arguments as to why you might think they are invalid.
However, be forewarned: I hold a masters degree in dogmatic theology with a special emphasis in sacramental theology. I will challenge and effectively counter your arguments (because I'm a choleric as well).
