| The joke was on us, Your Eminence. |
*Is there a silver-lining in the formation of a resistance movement?
*Reaction around the blog-o-sphere: Paenitentia - disgusted! Nymphios - a fellow monarchist! Dr. Taylor Marshall - the solution is Catholic procreation! Robert Ritche - break out the beads and the swords! Fr. Z - the coffee speaks! First Things - Let the analysis begin.
*Liberalism's (Socialism's) war on the family is destroying the lives of individuals and destroying society. The ravages of this new world order is part and parcel of a fundamental social disorder, that not only destroys society and culture, individuals, but also souls. Socialism is diabolic. The unconditional principles of sound government.
*Cardinal Cañizares' comments on the occasion of the Traditionalist Piligrimage to Rome in thanksgiving for Summorum Pontificum and Cardinal Bertone relays the sentiments of the Holy Father to the pilgrims.
*The Lutherans are snickering into their sleeves on this one. Imagine their delight when the Catholics are cowed into celebrating Martin Luther! However, all they are doing is taking up the Modernists on their ecumenicalism.
*Enough! It's high time to get back to what makes us Catholics.
*Traditional Pilgrimage in Rome.

Thank you for these links. The Remnant piece was particularly good. From conversations with friends and colleagues to posts across the Internet, a clear theme is emerging. Scales may, hopefully, be falling from eyes, and eyes may, hopefully, be turning heavenward instead of looking to Washington for salvation.
ReplyDeleteA comment on one of the Telegraph articles was quite to the point. It read, "If God does not destroy America, He owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology." Now, I certainly am not praying for the destruction of my country, but the comparison with these two infamous cities is painfully apt.
The video was pretty good but the cause is set back when Catholic Traditionalists speak of the Mass and how young people are attracted to it for that rhetorical expression carries with it an implicit admission that the charge made by even Our Holy Father that the Real Mass is a matter of personal tastes and and not about factors that are objective is true; I also deplore the use of "Liturgy" which the radicals began to use in the 60s to describe the Holy Sacrifice of The Real Mass (and, of course, Liturgy does not mean just the Holy Sacrifice of the Real Mass) and the use of Extraordinary Form as a substitute for Mass because, that too, is a surrender to the illusion that the Lil' Licit Liturgy is essentially the same as The Real Mass and no Catholic Traditionalist thinks that, do they?
