Dear Mr. Werling. About six months ago I wrote a polite and serious letter to my Bishop offering myself as one willing to go to jail as a way to oppose the Mandate.

Dear Mr. Werling. I have re-thought what I posted and I now believe that what I wrote to my Bishop was ignored by him with justification.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking in American Civil Rights mode and not thinking within Catholic Tradition - which has zip to do with such political tactics as mass rallies and sit-ins, protests, and increasing the size and coercive power of a then already puissant central government in opposition to subsidiarity.
Our Triune God knew what He was doing when He created me without the intellect and talent to ever ascend to a level of leadership.
